Mlolongo has various fun places one can visit to relax and have a good time. While some of these places are mostly for children, there are fun places that cater to the whole family. The list below is of some of the fun places one can visit while in Mlolongo;

1. Mombasa Road Mlolongo Footbridge

This footbridge that was constructed to save lives on the busy Mombasa Road has turned into a fun place for locals. It allows one to have a great view of vehicles as they move up and down the road.

In addition, one can see the beautiful surrounding landscape, which includes the breathtaking Mua Hills. On top of that, you can take pictures, and enjoy the breeze at the top of this architectural marvel.

The only drawback, however, is the fact that boda boda riders have flooded the footbridge with their motorbikes.

2. Playland Amusement Park

African Heritage Home was started by Alan Dovan who was interested in African art. The establishment overlooks Nairobi National Park, which means you can see wild animals roam the wild. Inside the Timbuktu-inspired Adobe home, you’ll be able to see a display of African art collected over the years. To take advantage of available entrance fee offers, you have to be in a group of four. The place offers bed and breakfast services, meals, and day tours for a fee.

4. Funland Amusement Park

6. Kitengela Hot Glass Ltd

Anselm’s Kitengela Hot Glass Studio uses scrap glass metals to create art pieces which are then sold to visitors. When you visit, you get to watch glass being melted, recycled, and mouth blown by expert artisans.

Among the beautiful art they create include translucent outdoor furniture, walls and screens, chandeliers, and even lighting. 7. Machakos People’s Park
